new version 2.10

EasiHTML provides a quick and convenient means to edit batches of HTML files without needing to understand HTML code. Version 2.10 is a major rewrite with a new user interface and editing facilities.

Use EasiHTML to change font sizes, page titles, colours, image borders, ruleoffs, table layouts, list formats, file extensions and more, both in single files and across whole sites. It can also mend broken links in groups of files and add pictorial navigation buttons to the top and bottom of pages. Special facilities are also included for users of Icon Technology's EasiWriter wordprocessor.

This new version has been released without documentation. This is due to be written as soon as time allows but, in the meantime, please use Interactive Help (eg. the RISC OS Help application). To get you going...

1. Click on the iconbar icon to open the Choices window,
2. Drag an HTML file, a selection of HTML files or a directory of HTML files onto the 'Process' target icon,
3. Set up your requirements in any or all of the 10 'HTML choices' dialog boxes,
4. Click on 'Reprocess' to apply these settings to your file(s),
5. Save the resultant processed file(s) from the Save dialog box in the normal manner.

A bug currently prevents background images being displayed correctly in the Colours dialog box on some setups. It will be fixed as soon as time allows.
